NWO LADY BUCKEYES

The Northwest Ohio Lady Buckeyes is a Non-Profit Traveling Fastpitch Softball program that has been organized to promote the development of athletic, social, and life skills of girls between the ages of ten to eighteen. The program administration and coaching staff are comprised of all volunteers, many of whom are parents. The Northwest Ohio Lady Buckeyes Strive to field competitive teams comprised of between ten to thirteen girls per team. Each team will practice and participate in Four to six sanctioned tournaments each season. The sanctioning bodies that we are associated with are as follows:

USA/ASA Amateur Softball Association of America

USFA United States Fastpitch Association

USSSA United States Specialty Sports Association

NSA National Softball Association

The playing season for our organization is conducted in the months of May through August. We participate in sanctioned tournaments in the states of Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida and West Virginia .

Each member of our coaching staff and administration devotes between four to six hundred man/hours per year to the organization. We are funded through player registration fees and fundraising activities throughout the year.

Our overall goal for this program is to not only give a place and an opportunity for young ladies to play a game that we all love so much ,but to also help them learn the needed Social and teamworking skills to make them healthy, happy and Productive adults while gaining lasting memories for their future.
